For accounting firms

Your client’s books never leave your firm.

Your duty of confidentiality rules out handing a client’s ledger to a third party, and that is what made you give up on carbon platforms. Here, the file is read inside your browser. We never receive it.

Nothing to upload. We see no entries, no amounts, no suppliers.

Reconstruction of the real screen. File names are anonymised: Oakbon never publishes a client name.

Your advantage

The data that costs the most to collect, you already produce it.

What makes a carbon footprint long and expensive is the data collection. And most of that collection, you have already done: every expense of your client is already recorded, dated and attached to an account in the French chart of accounts.

The best structured file there is

The FEC is standardised by the French tax authority and can be produced by any company keeping computerised accounts. Yours is the only profession that has it to hand for every one of your clients.

One file per client

You open the file, you drop in the accounting export, you produce the report. Each file is walled off from the others, and a client with several companies also gets its consolidated report.

Engagements that come back every year

Costed action plan, reduction targets under article L229-25 of the French environment code, 1.5 °C trajectory, obligations tracking. The report is redone every financial year, like the tax return.

Your clients are about to receive carbon questionnaires. The file they need, you already have it.

The FEC you produce for them every year contains most of the calculation. What you were missing was the tool to turn it into a footprint, and one more line on your engagement letter.

Your professional obligations

We never receive your clients’ accounts.

The file is read inside the browser of whoever drops it in. The calculation runs on their own machine. Our servers receive totals per emission category and the questionnaire answers, nothing else.

  • The FEC is never uploaded. No file is ever sent.
  • We see none of the entries, the amounts or the supplier names of your client.
  • Nothing to purge, since nothing was ever transmitted. The entries disappear with the tab.
  • There is nothing to protect on our side, since nothing reaches us. The footprint itself stays in the file.

Hosted by OVH in France, no data outside Europe. AES-256-GCM encryption with a key of its own for each file. Passwords protected by Argon2id. Three-level isolation. Two-factor authentication, role management, data export and deletion.

Inside the portal

What you run from a single screen.

The firm portal is shipped and in production. You open a file, you work in it as you would in a client account, you step back out.

Inside a file, the plan applied is ETI. You are never held back on what you declare for a client: unlimited subsidiaries and sites, consolidated footprint, group report, commuting survey. What you pay depends on the number of client files and subsidiaries, not on the features you use.

Unlimited users, distinct roles

Staff, engagement managers, partners: viewer (read only), member (create and edit), owner (billing and firm administration).

Unlimited entities in every file

Subsidiaries and sites declared, consolidated footprint and a dedicated group report, base year handled under the GHG Protocol policy.

Obligations tracking, file by file

CSRD, BEGES, CBAM, VSME (now VS): the applicability engine tells you, for each client, what concerns it given its headcount and its revenue.

White-label option (on quote)

For firms that want to carry the relationship under their own brand.

Billing

You pay per client file, not per member of staff.

The billable unit is simple, and we would rather you read it before the quote than after.

Counts

One unit per client file

Every client you open in the portal is one billable unit.

Counts

One unit per subsidiary

Each additional legal entity declared inside a file counts as one unit.

Does not count

A site

A client with four establishments and a single company stays at one unit.

Your staff are unlimited and never enter the calculation. Report volume is negotiated according to the size of your portfolio.

Questions from firms

What partners ask us.

Do we need carbon expertise to open a file?

No. Mapping the French chart of accounts onto the GHG Protocol categories is done by the engine, and the questionnaire only asks what a firm can answer with its client: floor areas, vehicles, energy, travel, waste. Onboarding support is included in the Cabinet plan.

How is my clients’ data kept separate?

Your client’s FEC does not leave your browser: it is never uploaded. Beyond that, isolation is enforced at three levels, right down to database queries. Access to a file is re-checked on the server at every action, never inferred from a cookie. What we do store is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a key derived per client.

Can a client reach their own file?

The commuting survey is made for that: an anonymous public page, opened by link, that the client circulates to its employees with no account and no login. Beyond that, access to the file is governed by the roles inside your firm.

What is handed to the client at the end?

The main deliverable is a PDF report with cover, supplier sheet, breakdown and top contributors, indicators, methodology, appendices and statement, aligned with the GHG Protocol and with the ESRS E1 disclosure requirements. Added to it are two CSV exports : BEGES / CDP / EcoVadis, and VSME (now VS). The report is not an ISO 14064-3 certification and does not replace verification by an independent third party.

What if my client grows during the year?

You declare the new subsidiary inside its file: it adds one billable unit. Opening an extra site, on the other hand, changes nothing on your invoice.

You already have the file. You were missing the tool.

Thirty minutes, an FEC of your choosing, and you see the report your client would receive.
