Multi-entity carbon accounting

Five companies, five sets of accounts, one group report.

You chase your subsidiaries, you receive spreadsheets that look nothing alike, you consolidate by hand, and you start again the following year. Each company drops in its own accounts, Oakbon produces its footprint, then the group’s.

What your finance department lives through

Carbon consolidation is redone by hand every year.

A group of five companies means five contacts, five ways of counting, five files that never arrive at the same time. Whoever holds the consolidation spreadsheet becomes the mandatory checkpoint, and the footprint goes on holiday with them.

The following year, nothing can be reused. The scope has moved, a subsidiary has come in, a site has closed, and the year-on-year comparison no longer holds.

What is coming

Meanwhile, your obligations are getting closer.

500employees, mainland France
250employees, French overseas territories
4 yearsbetween two updates

The regulatory report

It applies above 500 employees, and above 250 in the French overseas regions and departments, with an update every four years.

The transition plan

It goes with the report, and it has to be published. Your reduction targets formalised under article L229-25, with a base year handled under the GHG Protocol policy.

What it changes

Each company its own footprint. You, the group report.

The group report

A separate document, built from the footprints of your companies, that you present to your board, your bank or the clients you supply.

The footprint of each entity

Each company keeps its own, comparable with the others since the method and the factors are identical.

Tracking of your obligations

Oakbon places the group against the thresholds of BEGES, CSRD, CBAM and VSME, and tells you what concerns you and by when.

The commuting survey

An anonymous page, opened by a single-use link, sent to your employees. Their journeys replace your estimates, across as many sites as needed.

Five users, three levels of rights

Read, edit, administer. Your management controller enters the data, your executives consult it, you alone manage access.

One point that will spare you a bad surprise

A subsidiary is a company. A site is an address.

Oakbon tells them apart, because the difference changes two things: what your group report contains, and what you pay.

A consolidated company

Subsidiary

It carries its own footprint, and it enters the group report as an entity in its own right.

An attached establishment

Site

It feeds the footprint of its company. A client with three establishments and a single company remains one entity.

The headcount, the revenue and the floor area you enter say explicitly what they describe, the group or the entity alone. That is what determines whether you are in scope, and a figure attached to the wrong level produces a false verdict.

Choosing

Up to five companies, that is the Pro plan. Beyond, we quote.

190 € excl. VAT / month

Pro plan

Five users and five companies, parent company included, with the consolidated footprint and the group report.

On quote

ETI option

It lifts the ceiling: unlimited subsidiaries and sites. It is added to the Pro plan and is quoted according to the size of your group.

Your data

The accounts of your companies never leave your premises.

Each file is read inside the browser of whoever drops it in. Our servers only receive totals per emission category.

Hosted by OVH in France · AES-256-GCM encryption with a key of its own for your group · isolation enforced right down to the database.

Frequently asked questions

What finance departments ask us.

Our subsidiaries do not share the same financial year.

Each company drops in its own financial year. The group report states the year used for consolidation.

Who sees what inside the group?

Rights are set per user: read, edit or administer. You decide who enters data and who consults it.

We will use a group reporting tool one day.

The BEGES, CDP, EcoVadis and VSME CSV exports come out in the formats your other systems expect. You are not locked into the tool.

What does it cost in total?

190 € excl. VAT per month up to five companies. Beyond that, the ETI option is quoted. Compare it with the cost of a consulting engagement, which reaches tens of thousands of euros for a large company (source: Bpifrance, Bilan carbone d’entreprise, 29 June 2026)

Can we change plan online?

The Essentiel and Pro plans are bought and changed from your workspace. The ETI option goes through a quote.
